Description
This book will demonstrate how the clinical, business, and technology components of healthcare organizations (HCOs) must work together to leverage analytics and achieve quality and process improvement goals. It will cover developing a strategy for analytics, using and analyzing data, managing data, identifying what needs to improve, choosing and using analytical tools, predicting outcomes of process changes, sustaining improvements in healthcare, and managing analytics development. In addition to the more technical aspects described above, this book will discuss common frameworks for quality improvement (such as Lean, Six Sigma, and Theory of Constraints) and how different frameworks (and/or QI challenges) dictate different analytical approaches.
